Some people are consumed by racism and it’s natural for them to speak vitriolic about people of color. For many folks, racism is a part of their DNA; it’s deeply rooted into the crevices of their soul. Racism is ingrained into these people’s culture. They were bred and raised to hate, and no facts could ever refute their tainted perception of Black and Brown folks.
Consequently, they are completely incapable of viewing non-white people like real human beings. Instead, they view them as objects that are invaluable to their society. For this reason, many have been captured spewing the following 10 highly offensive quotes about racism:
1.) “Let me see one of you adopt one of those ugly black babies.” – Abortionist Ashutosh Ron Virmani
2.) “(Blacks and Hispanics) are too busy eating watermelons and tacos to learn how to read and write.” – Mike Wallace, CBS News
3.) “Sometimes I wish slavery was still goin’ on” and “I don’t need black fans anyway. Y’all don’t buy albums.” – white female rapper Kreayshawn
4.) “Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.” –Rush Limbaugh
5.) “A few years ago, (Barack Obama) would have been getting us coffee.” – Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy
6.) “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” – Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One according Ronald Kessler’s book, “Inside The White House”
7.) “The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.” –Rush Limbaugh
8.) “A general belief seems to prevail in the Colony that the Indians are little better, if at all, than savages or the Natives of Africa. Even the children are taught to believe in that manner, with the result that the Indian is being dragged down to the position of a raw Kaffir.” –Mahatma Ghandi (Note: “Kaffir” is an offensive term in South Africa considered on par with “n*gger” in the U.S.)
9.) “Of course, under my suggestion, the Town Council must withdraw the Kaffirs from the Location. About this mixing of the Kaffirs with the Indians, I must confess I feel most strongly. I think it is very unfair to the Indian population and it is an undue tax on even the proverbial patience of my countrymen.” –Mahatma Ghandi (Note: “Kaffir” is an offensive term in South Africa considered on par with “n*gger” in the U.S.)
But of all the quotes about racism listed here, I find myself using this next one quite often, especially when dealing with white supremacists and colorblind racists:
“People know about the Klan and the overt racism, but the killing of one’s soul little by little, day after day, is a lot worse than someone coming in your house and lynching you.” –Samuel L. Jackson
