List of Chicago Protests Against Black on Black Crime the Media Ignores

The hyperbole mantra “black on black crime” is nothing but a systemic method of psychological conditioning to maintain white dominance by means of mass manipulation. By deliberately programming society to criminalize all people of color is how this racial social system perpetrates itself.

Blacks who commit crime is not some unique phenomenon known only to black people. As a matter of fact, studies have shown that it is not black or brown people—neither adolescents nor adults—that perpetrate the most crime in America, but instead white people.

Moreover, according to the Daily Kos, “Whites are 6 times as likely to be murdered by another white person as by a black person; and overall, the percentage of white Americans who will be murdered by a black offender in a given year is only 2/10,000ths of 1 percent (0.0002). This means that only 1 in every 500,000 white people will be murdered by a black person in a given year. …Any given black person is 2.75 times as likely to be murdered by a white person as any given white person is to be murdered by an African American.”

Contrary to popular belief, I cannot emphasize enough that crime isn’t exclusive to black people. And, I refuse to allow mainstream society to paint the perception that blacks kill other blacks for sport. However, there are criminals who happen to be black, just as there are criminals in every race that’s on the face of this earth.

It is also a fact that black criminals are more likely to victimize other black people, regardless of the media’s intentional attempts to spread the propaganda that blacks are killing everyone of all races. Furthermore, studies show that most of the black people that are victimized by black criminals are other black criminals.

Many black and brown youth are killing each other as a result of a lack of opportunity, business strength, and fortitude in their communities. Unfortunately, they use crime to boost their own economic vitality at the expense of their communities.

Large cities like Chicago, where the primary population consists of people living in destitute conditions, are saturated with crime. Below is the Chicago Shooting Victim data for the years 2015-2016, provided by Chicago Tribune.

Each time there is a shooting in Chicago, the media jumps all over it while intentionally painting the perception that “black people aren’t concern with black crime.” In an attempt to marginalize black people’s demand for justice when faced with deadly oppression by police officers, mainstream society will bring up black on black crime. This is done not only to deflect from the injustice of police brutality, but also to send the false message that police are only killing “black criminals” that are deserving of death.

First of all, let me stress that there exists no police officer that has the right to make himself judge, jury, and executioner when confronting black citizens. The first claim of defense that officers who perpetrate such crimes use is being in fear of his or her life, when video and audio evidence, as well as witness testimony, has refuted those claims.

The fact is that the actual criminals in Chicago are allowing police to kill with impunity. Crime is growing exponentially, and something has to be done to combat it. The problem is that there is something being done to rectify crime, but the media simply fails to report on the measures being taken.

There are several organizations that are in the streets of Chicago, fighting daily against crime in their neighborhoods. But instead of the media publicizing this, their primary focus tends to be on Black Lives Matter endeavors.

The thing is, B.L.M. organization’s sole purpose is to combat police brutality, and not fight for or against all black social issues. There are other black organizations with missions to combat black social issues, including black crime.
